Canadian Aid to Persecuted Christians, INC (CAPC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping severely persecuted Christians in the world. CAPC’s mandate is to provide legal counsel, financial assistance, and resettlement to persecuted Christians in their country. CAPC will assist in sponsorship and resettlement to Canada for those who need safe passage out of their country.
CAPC seeks to bring together individuals and organizations who defend the right to religious freedom, and would like to facilitate legal, financial, resettlement, and social assistance to Christians facing persecution.
CAPC’s vision is to bring individuals and public, private and not-for-profit organizations who defend the right to religious freedom, and would like to facilitate legal, financial, resettlement, and social assistance to Christians facing persecution.
CAPC’s mission is to work with individuals and public, private, and not-for-profit organizations to support Christians around the globe who are threatened, displaced, and recognized to be genuine refugees. CAPC will provide legal, financial and resettlement services to the victims to enable them to have freedom of religion and association and live freely and independently in their homeland. In severe cases, CAPC will assist in sponsorship and resettlement to Canada.
CAPC believes that all people have intrinsic value and are all equally deserving of dignity, honour, justice, and freedom of association and faith. We drive our values of integrity, collaboration, passion, respect, and excellence from the word of God as stated in the Holy Bible.
Integrity: We will use all our resources and everything in our power to assist those who have been identified by CPAC as persecuted Christians and are in urgent need of assistance.
Collaboration: We will build relations and work together with individuals and private, public, and not-for-profit organizations to aid persecuted Christians
Passion: We genuinely care and want to assist persecuted Christians in any way we can, as we believe in patience, mercy, and freedom of religion and association.
Respect: We value everyone in and outside the organization for their trust, time, contribution and input.
Excellence: We will deliver what we can provide in our power and with our resources to the victims.
Canadian Aid to Persecuted Christians (CAPC) was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in April 2019. The initial Annual General Meeting was held in Saskatoon in May 2019. The Board of Directors has involved membership from various individuals and organizations from various cultural and religious backgrounds in Canada. Board members include victims who were persecuted Christians, and volunteers who want to be involved in the organization and have served on refugee committees to resettle refugees and immigrants in their communities.
